Questions about a feature?
Talk to an engineer who builds it, or read how it works in the docs.
Runs on your servers.
Analytics is part of the grovs deployment in your cloud or data center. Or start on grovs Cloud and move later.
Stays in your cloud
Events, sessions, audiences and dashboards, all in your own data stores.
What leaves
Nothing. Analytics never calls an outside service.
One SDK, five products.
Each product is one step of the same journey: bring users in, understand them, keep them, monetize and own the data.
Questions, answered.
Something else? Talk to an engineer.
What do we need to track to get started?
Nothing beyond adding the SDK. Sessions, screen views, installs and link opens are recorded automatically. Add custom events, like workout_started or plan_upgraded, when you want more detail.
How is this different from Amplitude or Mixpanel?
Every user carries the link and channel that brought them in, so retention and revenue split by email, QR code or banner out of the box. The data lives in your own database, and the same audiences can be messaged from grovs.
Can our analysts query the data directly?
Yes. Events sit in your own data stores, so your team can use SQL, the API or CSV export, and stream the same events to your warehouse.
Do you sample data?
No. Every event is stored in your database.
Does this replace our BI tool or Adobe Analytics?
It doesn't need to. grovs covers the mobile journey well, and the event stream sends the same events to the BI or warehouse tools you already use.
Can we track web and app users together?
Yes. The web SDK and the iOS and Android SDKs report into the same project, so a visit to your website and the install that follows belong to the same journey.
